South Dakota Ghostbusters Ectosd
When it comes to rolling up in style, the South Dakota Ghostbusters don’t mess around. We don’t slap a logo on a random vehicle and call it good. We’re the only Ghostbusters team in South Dakota with two fully built Ecto vehicles, each designed to turn heads and deliver a true Ghostbusters experience.
The Ecto SD is our primary response vehicle and a fan favorite at events. Built with attention to detail and plenty of personality, it’s designed to look right, sound right, and feel right.
From the lights and sirens to the custom Ghostbusters equipment mounted inside and out, this vehicle is a rolling photo op and a centerpiece of our display wherever we go.
Crown Vic Cop Car
Our Crown Vic Police Interceptor brings a different kind of energy. Inspired by classic law enforcement vehicles and loaded with Ghostbusters flair, it’s fast, loud, and impossible to ignore.
It features a police-package motor, upgraded suspension, and all the details you’d expect from a proper interceptor build. When we need to make an entrance, this one delivers.
Cadillac S&S Hearse
Our now-retired original Ecto SD began her journey as a funeral coach in Wisconsin, or so the story goes. After years of laying bodies to rest, we repurposed her to catch their ghosts. Since 2016, she has served us well, but we've had to officially retire her from active duty. Now, she enjoys her time at the SDGB HQ. What does the future hold for the next EctoSD? Only time will tell. One thing's for sure: we won't need to ask Mom to borrow the family car anymore.
Both vehicles are regularly featured at public events, charity fundraisers, and conventions. They aren’t just props, they’re part of the experience.
